The Design

In comparison to the XBox One S and the original XBox One, the XBox One X has a more compact design. Microsoft has not revealed specifics, but the console will be thinner and have a lower footprint than previous iterations.

The XBox One X could come in a variety of colors, but Microsoft has only showed the black variant so yet. Three USB 3.0 ports, two HDMI connectors (HDMI 2.0b out and HDMI 1.4b in), dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0 are also included. Ethernet, S/PDIF audio, and an IR blaster are all included with the XBox One X.

The XBox One X, like the One S, has a built-in power source, but it also includes a more complex cooling system to ensure optimal performance.

Performance

The One S provided a minor hardware upgrade over the original device; however, the XBox One X receives a significant upgrade. It’s Microsoft’s response to Sony’s PS4 Pro. The new 8-core AMD custom CPU runs at 2.3GHz per core, up from 1.75GHz in the previous generation.

The XBox One X also has 12GB of RAM, which is 50% more than the 8GB RAM offered by the One S console. According to Microsoft, the combination of these two capabilities makes the console extremely powerful, promising genuine 4K gameplay.

The gaming console has up to 6 TFLOP, which is higher than its older cousin’s 1.4 TFLOP. It can also process up to 326GB of memory in a single second, ensuring that demanding 4K games and entertainment operate seamlessly.

The XBox One X has two storage options. It combines an 8GB flash drive with a 1TB standard hard disk for speedier performance. The XBox One X speeds up operation by loading the operating system onto a fast 8GB flash drive, resulting in a better user experience.
