Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand focuses on affordable phones, although Xiaomi also produces affordable phones under its main smartphone series that are on par with some Redmi phones. We’re talking about the Mi Lite line, with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite being the most recent. Many people are debating whether they should buy the most advanced Redmi phones or the most economical Mi phones in the same price range, which is why we decided to put this comparison together. To determine which device is the best, we examined the characteristics of the Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite.

Design

If you’re looking for a phone with a unique design, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is the way to go. First and foremost, it is a smaller and lighter device than the Redmi Note 10 Pro. It also has a more appealing appearance and a more compact body. When it comes to design, there is no contest: Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is more gorgeous and user-friendly. The Redmi Note 10 Pro, on the other hand, sports a Gorilla Glass 5-protected glass back. Both phones have received the IP53 certification, indicating that they are dust and splash resistant.

Display

The Redmi Note 10 Pro boasts a 120 Hz refresh rate, making it more ideal for gaming. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, on the other hand, is the ideal option if you want the best display quality. With its outstanding Full HD+ display, it is one of the few inexpensive phones that can display up to one billion colors. We’re talking about an AMOLED panel with HDR10 support and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. You can also get a slightly higher brightness with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite.

Specs & Software

The Snapdragon 732G chipset in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite and Redmi Note 10 Pro is combined with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2). They’re both capable of the same degree of performance, feature a microSD slot, and, sadly, lack 5G connectivity. Along with the costs, the identical hardware departments are the primary reason we compared these two gadgets. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite and Redmi Note 10 Pro come pre-installed with Android 11 and MIUI 12.

Camera

The main camera on the Redmi Note 10 Pro is more interesting: a 108 MP midrange-class sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. It also has a 2 MP depth sensor, which is very worthless for virtually all photos. Both phones contain the same 16 MP front camera, as well as an 8 MP ultrawide sensor and a 5 MP macro camera. The main rear camera is the sole significant difference.

Battery

The Redmi Note 10 Pro takes the lead in terms of battery life for one simple reason: it has a substantially larger battery. When compared to the Mi 11 Lite, this is the device’s standout feature. To ensure a lightweight body and slim design, Xiaomi decided to supply the Mi 11 Lite with a smaller battery.

Price

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite costs Rs. 21,999 / $295 in India, but you can get it for less than €300 in the global market thanks to internet street prices. In India, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is available for Rs. 16,150 / $217 (less than €300 on the global market). Because of its larger battery, the Redmi Note 10 Pro offers better value for money. The Mi 11 Lite has a better display, a slimmer and lighter body, but its battery is too little in comparison to its competitor, and the hardware is identical. That is why I would choose the Redmi cheap smartphone.
