The Design and Display

Although the Xiaomi Redmi K30 does not have the most pleasing design, having a new design is something I am extremely pleased with. It’s impossible to say if it’s a successor to the Xiaomi Redmi K20 because their chassis designs are so dissimilar.

The frame is made of aluminum, and the front and back panels are made of gorilla glass.

Despite the fact that the Xiaomi K30 offers a new design to the Xiaomi K series, it’s clear that the Xiaomi K30 borrows design elements from other smartphones. This is something that is extremely clear in the front panel.

The Xiaomi Redmi K30 has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a pixel density of 395 pixels per inch.

The smartphone may not have the same highly praised super AMOLED display as the Redmi K20, but it does have a function that the Redmi K20 lacked, which could prove to be more valuable.

The Redmi K30’s display boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, which implies that navigating the user interface will be extremely fluid. This monitor does, however, support HDR10 content when it comes to new display features.

The Cameras

The Xiaomi Redmi K30 has a fantastic camera system. It has a camera system that most people who are looking for smartphones with good cameras on a budget will love.

This camera system allows you to take HDR and Panorama images, as well as record 4k movies at 30 frames per second, 1080p films at 30 frames per second, and 720p videos at 960 frames per second for slow motion.

The Xiaomi Redmi K30 has a dual-camera configuration with a 20MP main camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 2MP depth camera with an aperture of f/2.4 for selfies.

This camera system allows you to take HDR photos as well as 1080p films at 30 frames per second.

Hardware and Software

With a small spec upgrade, the Xiaomi Redmi K30 continues the mid-range hardware game that the Redmi K20 started.

It is powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 730G processor with an 8-nanometer architecture. The Xiaomi Redmi K30’s visuals are handled by an Andreno 618 GPU.

The Redmi K30’s RAM and storage configurations start at 6GB / 64GB and go up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. This smartphone comes with a non-removable 4500mAh battery.

The smartphone supports 27W rapid charging via cable, claiming to charge to 100 percent in 57 minutes.

On the software front, you’ll find MIUI 11 running on top of Android 10.
