Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro Specs and Price

The Poco F2 Pro continues the heritage started by the Poco F1. It has flagship specs for a fraction of the price of other flagship smartphones. The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro is a knockoff of Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 Pro smartphone. You have the same design and hardware specs as them.

Design and Display

The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro is reminiscent of the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro in terms of appearance, providing devotees with a Xiaomi smartphone that looks like it belongs in the family. The only thing that sets these apart is the Poco branding on the back.

This smartphone’s build consists of Gorilla glass 5 on the front, Gorilla glass 5 on the back, and aluminum on the frame.

A circular camera module with four cameras is located on the back panel. Below the camera module is a camera flash, and below the camera, flash is the Poco branding, along with some model-specific writeups.

A 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, and a screen density of 395 pixels per inch is on the front.

Camera

The cameras are inspired by the Redmi K30 Pro. The same quad back cameras and pop-up selfie camera with the same sensors and functionality are included.

A 64MP primary camera, a 5MP telephoto / Macro camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth camera make up the rear camera configuration.

This rear camera arrangement can record 8K video, which is a capability we’ve seen on high-end phones like the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and Xiaomi Mi 10 5G.

Video recording is also available in 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/120/240fps, and 1080p@960fps. HDR and Panorama modes can be used to shoot photos.

A 20MP pop-up selfie camera takes selfies and can shoot 1080p films at 30 frames per second and 720p videos at 120 frames per second.

Hardware and Software

As said in the introduction, the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro continues the heritage started by the Poco F1. It belongs to the same category as the Realme X50 Pro 5G, which is dubbed the flagship killer category.

The story behind the Poco phone is that it offers flagship specs for less than $1000, which has become the normal price for premium devices over time.

An Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and an Adreno 650 graphics processing unit power the Poco F2 Pro.

6GB LPDDR4X and 8GB LPDDR5 RAM choices are available on this Android smartphone. You can choose between 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Please notice that this smartphone does not allow Micro-SD card storage extension.

On the software front, you’ll get the MIUI 11 user interface running on top of Android 10.0.

Connectivity

A 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port are included on the Xiaomi Poco F2 pro. NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-band Wifi are also included.

Fans can download, upload, and stream content at 5G speeds thanks to its 5G compatibility, as long as they have 5G reception in their location.

Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro Price and Availability

The Poco F2 Pro starts at roughly $542 for the base 6GB / 128GB model. The price is 3,121.92 Ghanian Cedi, 211,380 Naira, 57,853 Kenyan shillings, and 211,380 Naira.

The maximum 8GB / 256GB variant costs $650, which translates to around 253,500 Naira, 3,744 Ghanaian Cedis, and 69,381 Kenyan shillings.

The Poco F2 Pro was unveiled on MAY 12th, 2020, and will be available on May 19th, 2020. Neon Blue, Phantom White, Electric Purple, and Cyber Gray are the colors available.
