Vivo recently released the S1Pro, a new phone in its style-focused S line. This phone is the successor to the Vivo S1 (Review), which was released last year. The S1 Pro, like its sibling, focuses on design, especially the new simple, diamond-shaped camera module on the back. The S1 Pro also has a modern USB Type-C port, unlike the Vivo S1.

Vivo S1 Pro Summary

The Vivo S1 Pro is primarily concerned with style, and it does so admirably. With its diamond-shped camera module, it’s a nice-looking phone. It’s a touch chunky at 8.68mm thick, and it’s also a little weighty. A 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution is included. There’s also a fingerprint sensor built into the touchscreen, which works wonderfully.

It has an octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. Funtouch OS 9.2 is the operating system, which is based on Android 9 Pie. There is a lot of pre-installed software, which is unpleasant. The overall performance is good, however it does become hot while gaming.

The 4,500mAh battery comfortably lasts for a day and a half of use, which is excellent. A primary 48-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture is included. In bright light, image quality is good, but in low light, it’s average. When shooting in daylight, the selfie camera performs admirably.
