The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is the successor to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S6 Tablet, which was released earlier this year. The tablet has 5G connectivity as an option, however there are also models that solely have Wi-Fi. As a result, the company became the first to incorporate 5G to their tablet.

The new smartphone comes with a fast processor, a larger screen that promises a sharper and brighter display, and a S Pen.

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has a high-end appearance. For starters, the tablet’s entire body is composed of metal, including the back and frame, with a glass face. It is 253.8 x 165.3 x 6.3 mm in size and weighs 498 grams.

Other variations include the 4 LTE versions, which weigh 500 grams, and the 5G versions, which weigh 502 grams. Samsung also included a keyboard that can be used for both work and play on the tablet.

The book cover keyboard comes in a 165° angle, which is unique. This manner, you may position it at any angle you like. For added security, there is a fingerprint scanner on the side.

The Galaxy Tab S7 features an 11-inch LPTS TFT LCD display with a WQXGA resolution of 25601600 pixels on the front. The entire screen boasts a screen-to-body ratio of up to 83.6 percent, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ compatibility.

Cameras

On the camera front, the flagship tablet has a dual-camera configuration on the rear. Samsung didn’t say much about the cameras. The 13 MP primary sensor and the 8 MP secondary sensor, on the other hand, will provide excellent images.

It can also record videos in 4K resolution. It sports an 8MP front camera for video calls and selfies.

Hardware and Software

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC powers the Samsung Tab S7. The chip is built on a 7 nm+ manufacturing node and features an octa-core processor with a 3.09 GHz clock speed.

It has an Adreno 650 GPU for graphics, and it runs Android 10 with One UI 2.5 on top of it. The gadget comes with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.0 storage.

You may expand the memory with a micro SD card up to 1TB, or you can opt for the larger model, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Battery and Network

An 8,000mAh battery powers the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, which also supports Samsung’s 45W Super Fast Charging technology. You can power the device with USB Power Delivery 3.0, which includes a USB-PD PPS Programmable Power Supply.

A 5G network, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE, and GPS are all available in the Samsung Tab S7. It’s also worth noting that 5G isn’t available on all models.

There’s a wifi-only variant, a 4G LTE network, and ultimately 5G. You’ll also receive an S-Pen and Samsung DeX, which gives you a PC-like experience on your phone.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will be available in three colors: Mystic Black, Mystic Bronze, and Mystic Silver, with a starting price of roughly $605. In Nigeria, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will cost roughly 555,000 Naira, while in Ghana, it will cost 5,200 Ghs and in Kenya, it will cost 97,000 Ksh.

SM-T870, SM-T875, and SM-T876B are the model numbers.
