Samsung introduced the Galaxy M series at the start of this year in order to counter Chinese competition. Multiple models from Xiaomi and Honor dominated the sub-Rs. 20,000 segment, many of which offered better value for money than the Samsung devices on the market at the time. As a result, Samsung developed the Galaxy M series with a heavy focus on the online market.

Samsung Galaxy M30s Summary

The Samsung Galaxy M30s is a follow-up to the Galaxy M30, which was released earlier this year. The standout feature of this new smartphone is its 6,000mAh battery. The AMOLED display on this smartphone wowed us because it was sharp and offered superb viewing angles. When used outside, the 6.4-inch display was bright enough.

The Galaxy M30s is powered by the Exynos 9611 SoC, which is the same technology that powers the Galaxy A50s. The Galaxy M30s comes in two flavors: 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage. The chipset isn’t quite as powerful as the Snapdragon 675, but it’s comparable to the Snapdragon 710.

A 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor make up the Galaxy M30s’ triple camera configuration. Although we were pleased with the Galaxy M30s’ camera capabilities, it was slow to focus when shooting macros. The maximum video resolution is 4K, however there is no stabilization. Videos shot at 1080p, on the other hand, were stabilized.

With our usage, the Galaxy M30s may last nearly two days. The large battery allows the phone to be kept away from the charger for longer periods of time. With the included 15W charger, charging the phone took roughly two and a half hours.
