Pay Metro PCS bill
If you don’t have the time to pay your Metro PCS payment online, you can quickly and easily do so over the phone. In less than ten minutes, you can pay by phone if you follow these easy instructions! It’s critical to remember that you can only pay by phone if you still owe money to Metro PCS. There is no method to make payments over the phone if your account is current and fully paid.
Step 1: Dial 611
Wait for a representative to answer the phone after dialing 611. Justify your payment by saying that it is for your Metro PCs cell phone. The customer service agent will inquire about your name, billing address, and account number. Have a copy of your passport, driver’s license, or social security card on hand in case they ask for identification as well. If you are making a payment using more than one line on your account, you will then be presented with a page asking which line you want to pay from. If not, it will direct you to their IVR system and ask you to confirm the transaction before proceeding. Cash, a debit card, or a credit card can be used to make payments, including those for your Pay Metro PCS bill (I recommend using a credit card).
Step 2: Choose bill payment option
If you want to set up automatic monthly payments or pay with a debit card, paying your bill over the phone can be a terrific alternative. You simply need the 16-digit number on the back of your debit card to make a payment with it. For your protection and peace of mind, we’ll email you a confirmation as soon as the payment is processed. Enter the amount and the day of the month (between 1 and 31) you want us to make automated payments.
Step 3: Enter the account number and due date
Visit the MetroPCS website on your computer. Click on Metro PCs Pay Bill after selecting My Account. Choose Pay by Phone and key in your ID number (PIN). Fill out your account details, choose what you want deducted from your balance first, and then choose a payment amount. By selecting what you would like to be done and then clicking Make Payment, you can confirm whether there are any additional bills you want to pay.
Step 4: Select the payment amount
- Select payment amount: $150 or less.
- If you want to pay for more than that, select another option below and follow the instructions.
- Payment made by debit card is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your credit card will be charged today, and tomorrow’s amount will be deducted on its due date.
You can use one credit card at a time when using our automated system to make a payment over the phone or online, even if you have multiple credit cards. Make sure you have current account information, including the expiration date of the credit card being used for automatic payments, if applicable, when paying with a credit card. Otherwise, it’s possible that your payment won’t go through.
Step 5: Provide credit card information
- If you have a charge on your account, enter the amount and provide a short description of what this charge is for. Depending on how many lines you have with MetroPCS, you may have multiple charges.
- If any interest and late fees need to be paid, please enter them here as well.
To finish your payment, click either I’m ready to pay now or Schedule Payment:
Please select Plan Payment and continue down to pay now and schedule future payments at a later time (such as from an employer):
Step 6: Submit Payment
When you call customer assistance, a MetroPCS live agent will be available. The representative will inquire about your identification, including your Social Security number and billing address. The agent will present you with payment alternatives for this month’s bill after you have given them this information. These choices can range from making one or more payment arrangements to paying in whole. Everything is dependent on how much cash you have on hand. If you don’t have enough cash on hand, for example, you can use one of these payment plans to cover the debt until you do.
Inform the customer support person of the plan that best suits your financial circumstances once you have it so they can assist you in setting up the autopay features for the payments.
Final Words
Wireless provider MetroPCS was founded in the US in 1994. Postpaid and prepaid consumers can each pay their MetroPCS bills separately. Consider a postpaid account where the consumer is charged for the service before it is delivered. If so, you will also need to supply your account number and the last four digits of your Social Security number. Your 16-digit phone number or mobile device ID, along with your billing zip code, are all you need if you have a prepaid account that doesn’t charge you until after it has been used. You will also require a method for MetroPCS to confirm your identity, such as being notified by text message.
