Manufacturers have used three alternative techniques to accommodate front-facing cameras in their pursuit of bezel-less smartphones: the notch, the hole-punch display, and the pop-up module. While notches have been widely adopted by all phone manufacturers, it appears that hole-punch and pop-up designs are gaining traction. The Oppo F11 Pro is the newest smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera, and it’s far less expensive than prior models like the Vivo Nex (Review) and Oppo Find X. (Review). Oppo F11 Pro Summary

The Oppo F11 Pro is one of the few phones with a pop-up selfie camera. The Oppo F11 Pro has a 6.5-inch display with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.9 percent. The bezels around the F11 Pro are quite tiny. With a weight of 191g, the phone is slightly larger than typical. It includes a 4,000mAh battery and supports rapid charging at 20W.

The MediaTek Helio P70 SoC powers the Oppo F11 Pro, which has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. ColorOS 6 is installed on top of Android 9 Pie. The user interface is simple and easy to use, however it comes with a lot of bloatware preinstalled on the device. Face unlock is available, which raises the pop-up camera for unlocking. The phone has a long battery life, lasting more than a day in our tests.

It has a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor on the rear, with a dual-camera configuration. The camera app is feature-rich, and the gadget takes good pictures in a variety of lighting settings. It takes good shots in the daylight, and the AI can determine what the phone is pointing at. There was little noise in low-light images, and the output was not grainy. In low-light situations, we found that Nightscape mode produced better results.
