When a new flagship-class Qualcomm Snapdragon chip is available, or when OnePlus detects a significant market shift in terms of design or functionality, it usually releases a new model. This strategy has helped the corporation stay ahead of the curve, even if it means irritating customers who may have paid a lot of money just to have their brand new equipment become obsolete in less than six months. In this example, the OnePlus 7 has been on the market for just over four months, yet the OnePlus 7T is already available. What’s unexpected is that the OnePlus 7T isn’t just a small refresh with a new Snapdragon 855+ chipset; it also includes a third back camera and a 90Hz display, which distinguishes the OnePlus 7 Pro from the OnePlus 7. Unfortunately, it also keeps OnePlus’ other practice of raising pricing with each new generation.

The OnePlus 7T, which is the successor to the OnePlus 7, incorporates a number of features from the more costly OnePlus 7 Pro. To add to the confusion, the previous two models had only been on the market for around four months when this one was released. While some buyers will appreciate the additional features and power, others will be disappointed that the company has increased the price of its base model yet again.

This phone has all of the premium features, and it looks and feels like a flagship phone that costs up to twice as much.

Performance is excellent, particularly in games. The cameras are a bit of a mixed bag, providing excellent shots on occasion but not often. This phone also comes pre-loaded with Android 10 and OnePlus’ OxygenOS shell. The battery life is satisfactory, and the phone charges really rapidly.

The OnePlus 7T will satisfy new purchasers with a budget of Rs. 40,000, but OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro owners, as well as supporters of the brand, may be irritated.
