You occasionally receive reminders from Facebook by text or email. You might have gotten notifications for things like being mentioned in a post, tagged in a picture, or having comments made on your wall or pictures. You can view these notifications when you sign in to your Facebook account. These alerts might occasionally be annoying, especially if you think the alert is unimportant. You will have the choice to do so while managing your Facebook notification settings.

It’s simple to delete notifications once you’ve finished reviewing the important ones. A blue dot next to the notification indicates that it has not been read.
Step 1: Open your browser and navigate to facebook.com. Then, if you haven’t already, log in to your Facebook account.
Step 2: Click Notifications in the upper right corner. An icon that resembles a bell.
Step 3: Check the box next to Mark all as read.
You can only clear notifications on Facebook from the website on your browser; you cannot do so from the smartphone mobile app.
