How to Disconnect Facebook from Instagram

1. Log into Instagram and click on your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner. Then, click on ‘Settings.’

   

2. Scroll down this page and click on the blue ‘Accounts Center’ hyperlink in the lower left.

   

3. Locate your account and click on the three horizontal dots to the right.

   

4. Click on ‘Remove from Account Center’ in the pop-up window. Then confirm.

   

From your ios or android:

To access your account, open the Instagram app and tap your profile image.

Tap the icon in the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines).

Select ‘Settings.’

To access the ‘Account Center,’ look for it and tap it.

Select ‘Accounts & Profiles’ from the drop-down menu.

A list of your accounts will appear on the next page. Select your account by tapping on it.

‘Remove from Accounts Center’ should be selected.

To confirm, select Yes, Unlink from the drop-down menu.

Voila! Your Facebook and Instagram accounts are no longer linked.

How to unlink your facebook from instagram

   Unlinking your Instagram and Facebook accounts can be done only from the Instagram app for iOS or Android. There’s no functionality for this on the Facebook mobile app, the Facebook desktop app, or Instagram on the desktop.

2. Tap the Menu icon (three lines on iOS and three dots on Android) in the upper-right corner.

3. Tap Settings.

   

4. Tap Account.

5. Tap Linked Accounts.

6. Tap Facebook.

   

7. Tap Unlink Account.

8. When the confirmation message appears, tap Yes, Unlink.

9. Your Facebook account is unlinked from your Instagram account.
