Is JAMB Result 2023 Out!
Please be advised that the result for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) administered by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is not yet available.
Once the results have been released, the official JAMB Result verifying portal will be activated. The official website to verify your UTME result is https://portal.jamb.gov.ng. However, you can also verify your UTME examination results immediately via SMS.

How to Check JAMB Result Via SMS
To check your Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) result via SMS, you need to follow these steps:
- Open the messaging app on your mobile phone
- Compose a new message
- Type “RESULT” in capital letters
- Leave a space and then type your 7-digit JAMB registration number
- Send the message to the shortcode 55019
After sending the message, you will receive an SMS response from JAMB with your result. Please note that you will be charged N50 by your mobile service provider for each message you send to 55019.

How to Check JAMB Result Online
To check your Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) result online, you need to follow these steps:
- Visit the JAMB result checking portal at https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility
- Log in to your JAMB profile using your email address and password. If you do not have a profile yet, click on the “Create an account” button and follow the instructions to create one.
- Once you have logged in, click on the “Check UTME Result” button.
- Enter your JAMB registration number in the space provided.
- Click on “Check My Result”.
Your JAMB result will then be displayed on the screen. You can print out a copy of your result or save it for future reference.
