Xiaomi has been one of India’s fastest-growing smartphone makers over the past 18 months, eventually becoming the country’s largest smartphone brand. With the Redmi series, it was able to capture a major portion of the market by providing powerful hardware at low rates. While Xiaomi smartphones were well received by the lower end of the market, established brands such as Samsung and OnePlus were still chosen by the upper end. Xiaomi’s premium phones haven’t sold well in India, and the Chinese company hasn’t released a flagship phone there since the Mi 5. (Review). Xiaomi claims that the new Poco sub-brand allows it to start fresh, free of the expectations that have built up around its other goods.

Poco F1 Summary

Poco is a Xiaomi sub-brand that has made the F1 its first device in the country. It boasts a 6.18-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9 and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The Snapdragon 845 engine powers the Poco F1, and it comes with a variety of RAM and storage configurations. On the rear, it boasts a dual camera arrangement with a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It includes a 20-megapixel selfie camera on the front. On top of Android 8.1 Oreo, the F1 runs MIUI 9.6. The phone sports a 4000mAh battery and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3 technology. It sports a dual hybrid SIM slot that supports both 4G and 3G.
