Last year, Nokia made a comeback in the smartphone industry, with HMD Global, the brand’s custodian, releasing a wide selection of smartphones at varying price ranges. These smartphones boasted great hardware, stock Android, and timely upgrades, as well as the traditional Nokia build quality to play the nostalgia card nicely. However, the market is saturated, and with most other smartphones adopting an 18:9 aspect ratio, the Nokia 5, Nokia 6 (Review), and Nokia 8 (Review) from last year appeared antiquated in contrast.
Nokia 7 Plus Summary
The Nokia 7 Plus is the company’s first smartphone with an 18:9 display. It boasts a 6-inch IPS display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. A Snapdragon 660 CPU with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage powers the phone. It is part of the Android One initiative and operates on Android Oreo. It’s a dual-SIM phone with a hybrid SIM card slot. A microSD card can be used to expand storage up to 256GB. A 12-megapixel camera and a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor are located on the back of the iPhone 7 Plus. It boasts a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front and is powered by a 3800mAh battery.
