In some unspecified period in 2015, WhatsApp released the WhatsApp Web, enabling users to use instant messenger on their PCs. You may sync WhatsApp to your computer using this capability. As a result, you may enjoy instant messaging directly from your computer browser. Surprisingly, all of your text messages will still be active on your phone.
You must first update WhatsApp on your device. Download WhatsApp for iOS or Android if you haven’t already. To make this function, it’s also crucial to have a reliable internet connection.
Here’s a quick guide for setting up WhatsApp Web on your computer.
Step 1
Open WhatsApp first if it has been installed on your phone. On your WhatsApp screen, look for the three-dot button and click it. Select the WhatsApp Web option from the overflow menu that will appear by clicking. A square box with a green line within that moves up and down is waiting to read a QR code.
Step 2
Start by launching the Google Chrome browser on the device you plan to use. You must be using the most recent version of Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, or Safari in order for WhatsApp Web to function. Unfortunately, using Internet Explorer or Safari on an iPad won’t let you use this feature. Enter web.whatsapp.com after that. inside the web browser you select’s search bar. A WhatsApp Web page appears right away. You must scan the QR code on the right side of the screen, which is located there. You can use WhatsApp on your computer by following the three steps in the guide on the left.
Step 3
To take a picture of the QR code on the WhatsApp Web page, point your smartphone’s camera toward the computer monitor. Allow the QR code to scan for a few seconds. The UI immediately transforms into the WhatsApp home screen once the connection is made. You may even decide to keep your device signed in at all times. Continue to enjoy using your computer to send and receive WhatsApp messages while visiting other websites.
Step 4
After a few minutes of inactivity, the computer would log you out automatically or your connection would drop. You can also just click the three dots buttons in the upper left corner of your computer screen. The “Log out” button will appear in an overflow menu; tap it to access it.
Finally, keep in mind that for this to function, your mobile device must maintain an internet connection. Having WhatsApp Web connected to your PC would be useful for daily tasks. Enjoy!
